Hey Readers!

Today I’ll speak about Gozo. Gozo is the main sister Island to Malta. Its smaller than Malta and has less than 40,000 people living on this island. Gozo is special to me, because it’s where i was born in 1987!

There’s loads of places to see. There’s Ta’ Pinu church which is a big church, built by a farmer called Pinu! A fun fact is that there are almost 360 churches in Malta! That’s almost one for every day of the year!

There’s also the Azure window which is like a hole in the cliffs, looking into the sea. There’s also Marsalforn, where you can eat some amazing pizza!

The most common way of getting to Gozo is by Ferry, but, you can also catch a plane or helicopter for about 10 times the price of the ferry ticket! The ticket to Gozo is LM 2, which is about 5 Euros, which is quite reasonable!

Gozo is a must see!

Take care,

Hey,

Today I’ll write a short summary about Valletta, Malta’s current Capital City!

On our tour, we take students up to the upper barrakka gardens, where they are able to enjoy the fantastic views of the grand harbour, and the three cities: Vittoriosa, Isla, and Cottonera!

Then we take a walk into the city and enjoy a tour of the Cathedral, called St.Johns Co-Cathedral. This cathedral is huge and is most popular for the Caravaggio paintings inside the museum!

We then take a small break, and make time for shopping and lunch at McDonalds, where i get a FREE meal! I love McDonalds!

There is a whole street full of shops called Republic street- which is the Maltese version of Oxford Street in London!

Take care,

Randolph

Mdina Tour With LINK!

Hey!

As promised, i shall describe what our tour includes.

First, we travel past Mdina to a town called Dingli. There are massive cliffs, facing Africa, and close to these cliffs is a tiny Island called Filfla! This island became smaller after it was used as a target for shooting practice in the world wars!

Then, we walk into Mdina from the main gate, and visit the Cathedral. The Cathedral is called St. Peter Paul. It looks very modest from the outside, but the inside is decorated with gold leaf, and priceless paintings! Many people don’t know this but I’ll let you into a little secret - under the floor of the cathedral lies a massive safe with the Knight’s jewels!!!

After the cathedral, we look over the bastions while enjoying some brilliant chocolate cake from “world famous” cafe called Fontanella! This is followed by a walk through Mdina for everyone to enjoy the scenery.

Mdina is my favourite place in Malta, and its a definite must see!

Take care,

Randolph

Hey all!

I spent the whole day at splash and fun today. That’s all I did.. I splashed, and i had fun! :) It was a bit overcrowded, and drinks were ridiculously expensive, but at least i enjoyed myself!

They got a new slide called the big splash i think. It’s cool, but the Super Bowl is better! I’m a bit sun burnt :( .

Hey,

Mdina used to be the capital City of Malta in the past. it’s situated int he centre of malta and this is probably why its such a good place to have a country’s capital city! Mdina isn’t very big, but it is fortified by very high walls and only has 3 entrances!

I love Mdina becauseof the majestic houses. Mdina only has a population of 400 people, and buying a property is very expensive business because of the good location. besides this, property for sale in Mdina is rare!

On my next post, i shall discuss what our tour includes!!

Take care,

Hey Readers!

As most of you know, i work for Link School of English in Swieqi! I’ve qualified as an English teacher, but i still like to lead groups of students for some extra cash. Many people ask me what my job is like, and the absolute truth is - I LOVE IT!

with this job I’m able to meet so many people of so many different cultures, it really opens one’s eyes on how different people from different places are!

I’ll try to keep you informed on all the tours we offer, which might give you some ideas if you come to Malta!

Take Care,

Randolph
