Hey!

Today i visited Marsaxlokk, which is a village close to Marsascala.

Marsaxlokk is popular for fish. Many Maltese people travel to this village just for the fish! At first i thought they were mad, but then i realised why they travel so far.. the fish is excellent!

I also met some old friends from school and enjoyed a nice refreshing drink with them!

Hey,

I took my students to the Marsascala Feast tonight. This was special to me because Marsascala is also the town where i live in Malta!

The Patron Saint for this village is called St. Anne. There were many celebrations including procession, and fireworks! I ate about 5 doughnuts and a lot of candyfloss!!

Hey,

Today i took my students to the Feast in Mosta. Mosta is popular for its dome, which is the third largest in all of Europe! It falls third to the Vatican, which is the largest in Europe, and i think, a dome in Russia.

There was a band playing tunes in dedication to the patron saint of the village. There were also fireworks and a procession!

The students loved it!!

Luna park!

hey guys!

There’s a Luna Park in Malta this week. We don’t have a permanent one, and an Italian one that travels around Europe has made a stop in Malta. There weren’t that many rides like Thorpe Park in England, or Euro Disney in Paris, but it was still a lot of fun! My favourite ride was the bumping cars! I had a great time crashing into my friend’s cars!

I managed to tear my flip flops! :( Thankfully i managed to get a pair of socks from my friends, so i still managed to enjoy myself!

Good Night!

Crafts Village!

Hey guys!

Today we took my students to Crafts Village in Ta’Qali, which is close to Attard and Mdina.

Crafts Village is popular for two main crafts: Glass blowing and filigree.

Glass objects are made by workers who blow into a bubble of glass and mould it into a desired shape, for instance a vase. Chemicals are added to the glass to give it colour, and sometimes silver is added to give it a silvery coat!

Filigree is a term the use to describe the making of jewellery out of silver! they make loads of different things like necklaces, bracelets and little statues!

Hope this is interesting to some readers!

Comino is most famous for it’s crystal clear blue water- called the blue Lagoon!
